“When I travel, I do so as lightly as possible. I prefer to use a thin 9-12 mega-pixel camera. Nothing fancy. In the case of this photo – taken of the ceiling of the Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall in Iceland – I used a Nikon Coolpix something or other.”
Jason Stocks was born in Arkansas and raised in Mississippi. He received his BFA from Goddard College and his MFA from Pine Manor College. His passions include architectural preservation, social work, and all forms of environmental stewardship. Presently he shares a small apartment in south Florida with one super-sweet king snake named Sophie, a chihuahua named Bubby, and two timid tarantulas.
